Our family van den Berg comes from the area around Gramsbergen. On the next pages you will find: 

First, the ancestors of Geertruida van den Berg (1879-1965, married Gramsbergen 3-3-1965 to Gerrit Jan Schuurhuis); I am looking for further information on the following persons and their parents: 

• Lambert Rotman and his wife Rika Hoed , parents of Geertruida Rotman (born Lage / kingdom Hannover (Germany) 1818, died after 20-9-1878, married Hardenberg 20-5-1840 Roelof van den Berg);
• Andries Jansen van den Berg, born Rheeze ca. 1720, and his wife Stientjen Zweers, born Holtheme ca. 1720, parents of Jan van den Berg (born Hardenberg 1750, died Ane 1816);
• Jennegien Jansen Altena, born (Rheeze?) ca. 1735, and her husband Albert Hendriks Welink, born ca. 1730 (his father was Hendrik Blankvoort, born ca. 1690);
• Zwaantjen Alberts Wolbink, wife of Gerrit Ferrits Veeneman, the parents of Albert Veeneman (born Holthone 16-1-1786).

Next, the descendants of Andries Jansenvan den Berg (born Rheeze ca. 1720), married to Stientjen Zweers (born Holtheme ca. 1720). They are the earliest ancestors of the Van den Berg family known to me.
